Moses Itauma vs TBA – fight date, venue and start time

Queensberry Promotions have reserved the 19 July Wembley Stadium slot for Itauma’s thirteenth professional outing. Promoter Frank Warren confirmed neither Martin Bakole nor Joseph Parker will be in the opposite corner, despite strong social-media speculation this spring. The opponent is due to be announced in early June, but the bout is already locked into the Usyk-Dubois running order.

Moses Itauma weigh-in details

The official weigh-in is set for Friday 18 July at midday in the Great Hall, Wembley Stadium. Entry is free on a first-come basis. Itauma tipped the scales at 240 lbs for his 2nd round demolition of Mike Balogun last weekend and is expected to post a similar figure on the eve of Wembley.

Who will Moses Itauma fight on July 19th?

Bakole is out, Parker is tied to WBO mandatory duties, and talks with former champion Andy Ruiz Jr have cooled as the Mexican rebuilds fitness after elbow surgery. Queensberry insiders instead list Jermaine Franklin and Richard Riakporhe as realistic options, each offering learning rounds without derailing Itauma’s world-title timeline for 2026. Justis Huni has stepped in to fight Fabio Wardley on June 5th so will also be out of the fight talks.

What a statement victory means for Itauma

Beating a durable gatekeeper over scheduled ten rounds would tick the “rounds in the bank” box that Warren and trainer Dan Azeez crave. It would also strengthen Itauma’s case to challenge for a minor belt before Christmas and keep pressure on the WBO hierarchy, whose title landscape could shift rapidly if Usyk regains undisputed status.
