I’m Ben, the founder and editor of Split Decision. I built this site from scratch in April 2025 because I wanted a boxing platform that cuts through the noise. Written by a genuine fan who actually knows the sport, not a content farm churning out as many “news” articles as they can.
By day I work in SEO, having spent 3+ years at a digital agency working on some of worlds largest brands. When I started Split Decision, I had no audience, no backlinks, and no budget; just an understanding of how search works and a passion for boxing.
In ten months, the site grew to over 600,402 organic impressions and 6,250 clicks, ranking alongside and in some cases above established publishers like DAZN for specific boxing search terms. Every article, fight preview, and product review on this site is written with that same approach: researched properly, written for boxing fans first, and optimised to actually be found naturally through what the fans are searching.
We cover all boxing related news. Everything from world title fights, fighter profiles to boxing equipment and nutrition — with a particular focus on Heavyweight boxing and the fighters making waves on the world stage.
